Tell us about who is in your family.
Tony - husband of 12 years and highschool sweetheart. We've been together since we were 16. I have 3 kids: Evelyn (8), Olivia (4), Nathan (2).
Where is your hometown?
Born and raised in Pharr, Texas. Moved out of the valley when I was 18 and went to college in Kingsville (3 years), then moved to San Antonio (2 years), then Houston (1 year), then Katy (10 years) and just moved back 4 months ago.
What is/was your career?
I have a degree in Human Science (bachelor of science), but I chose to be a stay at home mom 5 years ago and although some days are tough, I love it.
How long have you been with FIT4MOM McAllen, and what has it done for you?
- I have been a member since August (4 months) and I love it. I love being able to bring my baby with me and enjoy getting to know the other moms/kids in between workouts.
What is your favorite class exercise?
- Squats.
What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
Every child is different! Lol Once you think you have the hang of parenting, one of them throws you a curve ball and surprises you. Also, you can survive off of little sleep. It's not fun, and I don't recommend it, but it's doable. Lol
What are some of your favorite things?
- Family time and teaching my kids new things.
What is your proudest mommy moment so far?
Being able to be there for all the big moments and small moments.
What advice would you give to a new mother?
- You can do hard things. Our bodies endure so much through pregnancy and labor. I strongly believe God made Mom's extra strong to be able to go through everything that we do physically, spiritually, and mentally.
